"Multiple Sclerosis is curable"
A clinical course of 55 MS-cases, longest observation time 31 years. The collective of treated MS-cases since 26 years are app. 500. Dr. Med Kousmine

page 11: Due to my clinical experience of 25 years, I came to the conclusion that MS is the cause of a bowel pollution of varies bacterial causative agents, viruses and chemical substances. This pollution has taken such a proportion that it is not longer possible for the normal defence mechanism to be neutralised. These defence mechanisms will be either spasmodically strained, which explains the recurring symptoms of the illness and its course in phases or they will be overexerted from the start which as a result turns into the progressive development of the illness. ...

page 20: This low-fat diet which is prepared with natural and fresh products and has a high share in whole foods, must be taken for a life-time. It is wholesome (not reduced) and should, perhaps in a less stronger form, be consumed from all members of the family, which would sureley let them feel better.

page 18: Breakfast-muesli (which is also available at the Buchinger Clinic): 2 TS linseed oil are mixed with 4 TS low-fat-quark (I donīt know the English word for it...) plus: 1 TS seeds or nuts (i.e. sunflowerkernels, sesame, almonds...), 2 TS freshly grounded wholemeal grain, fresh fruits (i.e. one grated apple), juice of half a lemon or orange-juice.

page 22: After stabilising the MS it will be satisfactory to normalise the intake of nutrition to preserve general health but there have to be taken radical steps in the beginning of the treatment. ...

page 26: What does "cure" mean? I describe "cure" not merely as the return to status "0", which includes disappearing of all neurological symptoms and also the stabilisation of the ilness and no reoccurring deterioration during years of observation. If the lacerated nerves which are of inflammatory nature at the beginning, scar over time, it is obviously too late to expect a return of the normal nerve functions. The observation of my patients brought me evidence that a slow regain of lost function over time is possible and that the nerve system - even if severely damaged - can still be regenerated under good nutrition circumstances. ... At this form of the illness, which is progressive from the beginning or deterioration from the 3rd month of treatment can come to a halt and can sometimes through regaining of the lost functions be amazingly replaced.

page 30: Reasons for relapses:
1. through abandoning healthy food...
3. through a feverish infectious disease in addition.
4. Finally through emotional stress a deterioration can be caused. ... Deaths, divorces, severe family conflicts or work related difficulties can be the trigger of a reoccurance of the illness.

page 233: Conclusion: ... The treatment, which I suggest in this work, is of causal nature. From the 3rd month on is a chance, if the laceration of the nerves are not too severe including scarring, of a full or partially regaining of the lost functions. Even if the treatment is immediately introduced after confirmed or assumed diagnosis, in practically all cases the course of MS will be brought to a halt. This will be necessary until we will become sensible and normalise our nutrition, desirably before great catastrophes happen. Then we might actually see this terrible illness progressively die out. ... It is not allowed to wait until a paralysis occurs for MS-patients, because this illness is easy to treat if recognized in the early stages. It cannot be enough emphasized, that a MS-patient cannot tolerate our false nutrition habits and has definately to avoid it and a normalisation of wholesome nutrition has to be the result for a life time. ...

"Why Evers-diet?"
Dr. Joseph Evers

In this book Dr. Evers explains in detail why the Evers-diet works, which to me, appears pretty obvious (a bit like Dr. Kousmine). I personally practised the diet myself for about 6 month and went to the Evers-clinic (Sauerland, Germany) three times. But as I do enjoy eating too much, I cannot stand such a strict diet...

page 39: If the patient follows the above guidelines, there will be no more relapses. And the healthy person stays healthy. ...

page 68: ... The first MS-patient came to me for treatment in 1940. She had been sick for 2 years, 5 months of that time with paralised arms and legs, so that she had been bedridden and had to be fed. She also was almost blind during that time. She recovered and is to this day (27 years later) able to work fully, although she gave birth to 3 children and nursed them for a year. This success spread around very quickly and one patient after the other came to see me. Until now (summer 1967) over 12000 MS-patients came to my surgery. About 8000 participated in my diet under my supervision. Naturally there are such cases (beforhand a case of a wheelchair bound patient of 20 years is described who after 3 years of Evers-diet is able to walk without a cane) a great exception for us. But if shows, that the nervous systom, if not severely scarred, can be regenerated. So do not give in too easily!...

page 70:... 1964 I wrote the work "The meaning of early diagnosis of MS". It says: "The early diagnosis of MS is of great importance because MS is curable in the early stages!" One should think about the meaning of this sentence...

page 72: ... MS to my opinion is the easiest illness to heal ... Following are explanations of the effects of the diet upon other illnesses, whereas he also explains, where the diet does not help effectively.

page 79: The universality of the Evers-diet: Some will now ask suspiciously how it is possible that both, high and low blood-pressure, constipation and diarrhoea, over-weight and being too slim, excess of lack of gastric acid, kidney diseases, gall-bladder and liver diseases, diabetes as well as arteriosclerosis and so on, in fact very different symptoms sometimes even the opposite, can be treated by the same diet. I certainly can understand the sceptics. The following explanation is right: The kidney disease sufferer did not eat a special diet to damage the kidneys, the diabetic did not take a special diet which pulls up diabetes and the arteriosclerosis sufferer did not take a special diet which will trigger arteriosclerosis. No, that is not how it commonly is. The modern human being is usually eating the same un-natural food, even with little differences, but nevertheless people become sick of different metabolism diseases anyway. Members of the same family practically all eat the same food... The body is reacting very differently to unhealthy food depending on the "weak point" within the body. Also the reaction to the unhealthy food is quite different from person to person...

"Stop Cancer and MS-Illnesses"
Halima Neumann

Preface: ... It is never too late! This I proved myself after an unsuccessful chemotherapy and after being given up medically. After one year of applying a healthy diet with fresh fruits, no cancer cells were detected anymore. Up to this day, 14 years later (1991), I am happy and healthy which is my wish for you, too, dear reader.

page 3: Reasons and consequences: The origin of cell diseases or cell degeneration ist in most cases a matter of neglect, lack of love towards ourselves and powerlessness due to weak inside our outside circumstances. We donīt care if cell alienation happens as a result of fungal affection. On a mental base we allow alienation (making decisions for us, personality degrading, suppression);...

page 5: ... There is a lack of education about the connection between body and spirit as well as tender loving care, feeling happiness, attention and recognition. Every illness is our teacher and tells us a message; we have to look inwards immediately; ... Through this loss a derailment of the metabolism in body and spirit occurs. Inside deficit and conflict will be projected into the outer world and appear there as persons, circumstances and destiny. We experience our "inner suffering" often as an annoying situation which only serves as a trigger to self determination and recognition. Great misfortunes mainly tend to give us a wake up call. Outer circumstances are usually not the reason for an illness but they partially activate it, too. The soul is first looking for a way in the body to point out a conflict!...

page 10: ... High perfomance pressure, spiritual tension, fear, anger, guilt and hatred have to be resolved to heal from the inside. Experience shows that most of the people who have fallen ill with MS or cancer diseases, have an unresolved inner conflict which triggers the illness. Therefor, our first step should be to get into harmony with ourselves and our environment to reach health from the inside out...

page 13: ... It is the lively, natural food with its inner power to grow, which stimulates the renewal of our cells. A quotation by Khalil Gibran in addition to this fact: "While grinding an apple or a nut, your heart must speak to it: your seed will live in my body with growing power to give good fruits - and when baking bread without love, it will not be nutritious because your vibrations are woven within. Your table shall be your altar and your meal shall be eaten with friends and gratefulness; but if you kill an animal for your own pleasure, the same power shall take over your bodily fluids which brought you to kill!"...

page 21: Candida - a dangerous yeast plant overgrowing

page 38: To build and restore a complete immune system. Lets summaries:

1. The willpower of self-healing has to be dominant, otherwise no doctor or "faithhealer" is able to help us.

2. Visualisation of the ideal circumstances through relaxation by self-hypnosis. Only by daily practise of positive thoughts vibrations get into the depths of the cell structures, wherein old thought patterns are stuck which with endurance and patients we are able to reprogram.

3. Breathing exercises and general exercises are resulting in a stronger immune-system, nervous-system and concentration.

4. Bowel cleaning and maintenance because 80 % of immune defence bodies are being built in the small intestine; body cleaning starts with bowel cleaning. In the Chinese healing teachings, the bowel is correctly symbolised as the root of the tree of life; through sucking movements of the small intestine, the food substances will be broken down and turned into nutritious fluids which are handed into the blood stream.

5. ... food ...

6. ... water ...

7. Action and application to increase our body and mind wellbeing: a peaceful natural surrounding, a healthy diet, air and sun bathing, sauna, massages, medical baths (spa), swimming, Yoga, dancing, painting, walking.

page 40: Common methods of treatment: experience shows, that daily practise of willpower and visualisation is very important to be able to send impulses to the paralised joints. In practise itīs like this: early in the morning and before going to bed, trained therapists practise 10 minutes deep breathing with the patient. With the following method, I was able, to get extremely good MS healing results: after deep breathing exercises, I guide the patient to visualise how the breath brings light and warmth into the patients numb joints... After app. 2 months of daily repetition of the brain impulse transmitter therapy, first signals of movement were detected. After further 2 months, the paralised legs of a 60 year kold female patient were moving as far as she was able, with help, to practise get up exercises which at the beginning often lead to spasm...

Out of the common richt protein dinner with meat, fish and eggs high toxic decay substances (Putreszin, Cadaverin and uric acid) are developping. All bowel poison in combination with ferment acid lead to a pollution of the metabolism in the brain cells. Relations between bowel weakness and perfomance interruptions of the brain are facts, as well as the weakening of imagination; depression and irritation are usually the common appearances. Observations at MS-clinics in the USA have shown, that repeated bowel cleaning treatments (colon-hydro-therapy) resulted in extreme improvements of the beforehand noted symptoms. ... To heal from the inside out itīs absolutely necessary, to clean the "soul-house" in order to get rid of any kind of waste which might block energy winning channels. Even stored negative thoughts block the self-healing-energy! Group session or one to one sessions - with trained therapists - are usually very helpful to detect years of false behaviour. Spiritual burden and inner turmoil have to be recognised in the root and must be resolved. No doctor and no medication is able to bring healing relief, if the patient is not willing to get better wholehearted!

To let go and to forgive mistakes and false behaviour is absolutely necessary to heal from the inside out. No healing by outside forces can last! Negative thought patterns always manifest themselves as interrupted function patterns and cell illnesses (psychosomatics). Therefor stubbornness can result in cramping of the brain and heart muscle. In addition observations of MS-patients have shown that cramping inside leads to exacerbation of spasm...

page 50: The sick person should nominate itself to be the builder of a new body temple and should participate in this useful task with happiness and willpower. Unfortunately we start participating with hands and willpower when we already have a "body-ruin". It is not easy for people with psychological weakneww to get happy and faithful under those circumstances. At this point not only help from the outside is necessary but it is also desirable that there is a will of getting aware. Getting aware means activating the self-healing-energies inside. With patience, love and peace the trust in self-healing can grow. The self-healing is natural to all humans and animals...

page 63: ... A larger number of leucocytes were detected in MS and cancer sufferers. This will always weaken the immunge-defence. In the same way damaging are the protein molucules of meat products, with lack of enzymes and digestive fluids, so the immune-defence will declare and treat this as alien elements. This is a proof, that meat is not meant for human organism.... Until the cooked food in 12-14 hours is digested, harmful break down fluids have been built (reoccuring poisoning, bowel-pollution - blood stream). ...

page 73: Epilogue: Our innermost spiritual and mental situations are the mirrow of all structures of illness. What really is needed, can hardly be answered by an outsider. We will regocnise that our illness is a message to signal us a deficiency in body and soul, if we listen inside peacefully. Some people need massive wake up calls to get connected to themselves again. The root of illness can not be tricked by outside therapies; at the same time a mental vending process is necessary. This at times my need enourmous changes in thinking and behaviour. ... No faith-healer was able to take over my mental healing - this was a necessary process of awareness for me. If we fulfil this work of healing first, a continuous healing of body and soul will happen.

"Great Manual of Hypnosis"
Werner J. Meinhold

page 507: MS is presumably an illness of the immune system. Under hypnosis I could observe triggering life-crise with all patients. After the illness phase teachings, this is a generative process which results out of early childhoof (symbioses) and was therefor developped on the grounds of strong fear. Unconscious death wishes and also unconscious lack of psychological independence, which is hardly recognisable by analysis, but are rather failure in over-compensation, is expressed in this illness. A barely recognisable break of over-compensation can be the trigger of this illness.(At this point I might add, that in Germany there is an organisation "Stiftung Lebensnerv" which does psychosomatic research with MS. In their broschure I have read the same thing - that there is a psychological dependence. If I take myself as an example: I have been to London for a year at the age of 21 and I did a trip around the world at the age of 24. One would say, that I was extremely independent. Reading the above, I wonder, if these things were not the over-compensation...

"Desiderata"
Writing in St.-Pauls-Church in Baltimore of 1692

"Walk friendly and calmly through noise and rush and remember, which peace can be found in stillness. As much as ever possible, without giving yourself up, try to get on with all people. Speak your truth calmly and clearly, and listen to others, even when they appear to you to be boring and unwilling; they have their story too.

Keep away from loud and aggressive people; they are annoying for the mind. When you compare yourself to others, never get bitter or arrogant; there will always be people that are able to do more or less than you. Be happy about what you have reached as well as about your plans. Keep the interest in your work without being arrogant; because your action and doing ist true posession amongst all the things with raising or lowering value.
Be careful with your business; as the world is full of betrayal. But donīt get blind for the fact, that there are many people who have ideals and who intend to make them come true. Also see, that there is true courage in life, too.

Be yourself! Donīt pretend affection nor become cynical regarding love; because itīs living on forever like grass even though you can see rigidity and lost magic around you. Give in friendly to the wisdom of the years and give away those things that are meant for the youth with lightness and happiness.

Keep the sharpness of your mind; as it may keep you away from sudden unhappiness. But donīt fall into constant grooming. Many fears are just the outcome of being tired and lonely. A certain kind of discipline is good, but otherwise stay friendly to yourself. Youīre a child of the universe, just like the tree outside or the star in the sky. You have a right to be here. If you comprehend or not, the universe develops according to itīs destiny. Therefor live in peace with God, whatever he may mean to you and whatever your work and abitions may be in this noisy disorientation of life.

Keep peace with your soul. Even if thereīs disappointments, hard work and broken dreams, itīs still a wonderful world. Be careful: Let happiness be your ambition."
